M'KIS Students Strengthened School Spirit and Bonding at Socials

By Erald Vero, Mont'Kiara International School CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) Coordinator and Physical Educator

Mont'Kiara International School (M'KIS) hosts annual Middle School and High School Social events, providing students with the opportunity to come together, build connections, strengthen friendships outside the classroom through fun and meaningful social activities.

The Mont'Kiara International School Middle School (MS) Social was a "Summer Vibes" evening, held on Friday, 8 May 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:15 PM. It was a vibrant celebration that successfully bolstered the M'KIS school spirit and fostered a deep sense of community. By offering a diverse range of activities like Basketball, Badminton, Ping Pong, and Chess, the event ensured total inclusion, providing a space for both high-energy athletes and strategic thinkers to connect. The Photo Booth and Just Dance stations were constantly buzzing with laughter, allowing students to build lasting memories and strengthen social bonds outside of a formal classroom setting. These shared experiences are essential for creating an environment where every middle schooler feels valued and integrated into the school's community.

As the sun set under skies of rain, the energy shifted toward the pool and the stage, where students arrived prepared with sunglasses, hats, and goggles. The Karaoke and Swimming sessions highlighted the bravery and supportive nature of our students. These activities, organized by the M'KIS Middle School Student Council (MS STUCO), perfectly illustrated how fun and healthy competition can drive perseverance and collective pride. We are incredibly grateful to the staff and parents who volunteered their time to supervise and support the students, ensuring the "Summer Vibes" were felt by everyone in attendance.
