It is a middle-income country with a manageable cost of living, and uses Ringgit Malaysia (RM or MYR) as its currency.The climate is largely predictable, and Malaysia enjoys tropical weather year-round. Due to its proximity to water, the climate is often humid. Malaysia also experiences a monsoon season; however this varies depending on the destination.

Culture and Language

Malaysia is a colorful, diverse country, with people of different backgrounds, beliefs, languages, and dialects. While Bahasa Melayu is the official language, most Malaysians can converse in English. Medical

Prior to your move to Kuala Lumpur, you may want to consider getting the vaccines recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. While KL is a modern city with good health services, please check the CDC site below for up to date information.
