Día de Muertos Celebration

Our high schoolers in Spanish class participated in a unique class activity in conjunction with Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). This traditional Mexican fiesta is celebrated in honor of the deceased.

The students prepared two recipes traditionally consumed during the celebration – a special drink and chocolate skulls.

The students followed the guidelines under the supervision of their teacher, Ms. Ana. They enjoyed chopping chocolate, filling molds, mixing food coloring, and decorating the skulls.

Our world language curriculum focuses on speaking proficiency and encourages a comprehensive exploration of culture, preparing students to be global citizens!
