.....along with Ms McDonald, Mr Kelly & Ms Cooney visited Taman Megah Home for the Disabled. This Centre was established in April 1997 and is a non- governmental, non-poli cal and non-pro t making organisa on. The centre focuses on doing everything in its capacity to provide the best possible founda on for its children to create truly extraordinary lives for their own futures. A home for troubled, abused, disabled and abandoned children, they are taught, trained and loved so students grow in mind, body and spirit. As a consequence the children develop the tools to thrive and achieve to be able to give back to society and to be a posi ve example for others, no longer becoming dependent on the community or Government.
It was a priviledge to spend the morning on the 21st April facilita ng ac vi es and ge ng to know the students who were so warm and generous, welcoming us all with open arms. We were also very lucky to be given a tour by Taman Megah Sta  around the new premises they now occupy in Taman SEA, Petaling Jaya. The students have been blessed with a wide range of new facili es to help with their learning & development including a swimming pool, a Ronald McDonald sponsored S mula on Therapy Room and a library with desk-top computers.
