New Enrollment for Academic Year 2010/2011

 

1. Fee Structure

1. Application Fee: RM800.00 (non-refundable)
2. Registration Fee: RM22,000.00 (non-refundable)
   • The Registration Fee is a one-time payment for students who enroll in Kindergarten through Grade 12.
   • The 4 year-old students enrolling in Kindergarten Preparatory Advanced (KPA) pay only one-half of the Registration Fee of RM11,000.00. Upon entering Kindergarten, the balance of RM11,000.00 is due.
   • The 3 year-old students enrolling in Kindergarten Preparatory (KP) are not assessed a Registration Fee.

3. Re-enrollment Fee: RM3,450.00 (non-refundable)
   Please note that students are assessed a re-enrollment fee annually.
4. Annual Tuition Fees:
   

   • Kindergarten Preparatory (KP, KPA)	RM40,465.00 per year
   • Kindergarten	RM58,467.00 per year
   • Elementary School (Grades 1 - 5)	RM63,390.00 per year
   • Middle School (Grades 6 - 8)	RM70,929.00 per year
   • High School (Grades 9 - 12)	RM78,469.00 per year

 

2. Payment of Fees

1. Fees are payable in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
2. The fees may be paid by check, money order, or wire transfer.
3. Checks should be made payable to:

   MONT’KIARA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SDN. BHD.

4. If payments are made through bank remittance, kindly take note of bank remittance information.

5. Please quote the invoice number, student's name, and parent's name.
6. Mont'Kiara International School sends billing notices twice a year.

3. Surcharge for Late Payment

A surcharge of five percent (5%) is applied for payments received one week after each semester begins.

4. Prorated Fees

   New students who register after the school year has begun will have the tuition fees prorated on a quarterly basis at the time of admission.

5. No Refund

Students who withdraw before the end of the academic year are charged full tuition fees for the semester in which they withdraw.

6. Discounted Fees

   Families enrolling more than two students will receive a tuition fee discount of five percent (5%) for the third child and onwards.

7. Fees Increase

   Tuition fees will be increased anually between 8% and 10%

8. School Hours

Mondays through Fridays on the following schedules:

• Kindergarten Preparatory (KP, KPA)	8:30 am - 1:30 pm
• Kindergarten to Grade 5	8:30 am - 3:00 pm
• Grade 6 to Grade 12	8:20 am - 3:00 pm

9. School Uniform

   Mont'Kiara International School students are required to wear the school uniform. Uniforms can be purchased from the Student Store located next to the School Café.

10. Busing

    School bus service is available to students. The fee for this service is based on the distance from the residence to the school.
    Applications for bus service are available from the Administration Office.
