Curriculum Coordinator

Under the direction of the Head of School and in collaboration with staff and administration, the Curriculum Coordinator will plan, organize, manage and direct M’KIS instructional programs. The Curriculum Coordinator will:
 

  • Conduct annual curriculum reviews
  • Ensure curriculum resources are aligned and available
  • Organize and manage schoolwide professional development
  • Manage the schoolwide assessment program
  • Collect, analyze and publish various data vital to the educational program
  • In collaboration with building administrator support accreditation and authorization status achievement
  • Understand and advocate for the appropriate use of technology in the school
  • Collaborate with the IT Department and building principals to ensure full usage of the school’s student information system
  • Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of Board policies, Head of School direction, and the strategies for achieving school goals and objectives
  • Perform other related functions as directed

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment or related areas with at least 8 years' experience
  • Demonstrated experience creating a community of learners and engaging stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in the accreditation process
  • Ability to lead teams, build capacity and excitement around initiatives, and produce results
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
