Student Support Services Philosophy
At Mont’Kiara International School, we respect each student as a unique human being, each possessing individual learning needs. Our faculty and staff are committed to a service delivery model that involves close collaboration with parents and other stakeholders.
Counseling & Guidance Programs
Three counselors support students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. All counselors provide responsive services, individual planning, and systems support to their respective age groups.
Learning Assistance Services
Students with mild learning disabilities, physiological conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, significant lags in an academic skill area, or other circumstance that results in the need for regular weekly support are supported through the auspices of our Learning Assistance program for grades 1-12.
English Language Learner Services
The ELL program provides support to students with limited English proficiency. The purpose of this program is to support students as they develop the English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills needed to achieve success in all content areas.
