School Facilities
Mont'Kiara International School houses extremely high quality facilities, providing an excellent physical learning environment for students. M'KIS enjoys an inviting and attractive campus setting, with beautifully designed classroom buildings punctuated by green spaces throughout. Housed in a park like setting in the midst of the bustling suburb of Mont'Kiara, the school is an oasis of greenery for all to enjoy.

The school boasts very modern facilities with purpose built facilities for all programs, including areas for instruction in the ELL program and the enrichment centre. Eight computer laboratories (4 fixed, 3 mobile and the research centre in the Library Media Centre) house the necessary hardware to fully integrate IT into the instructional day. Fully equipped science laboratories exist for earth science, chemistry, biology, physics and physical science. The Arts Education program is fully supported via several general music rooms, a band room, three art rooms, a dance theater plus a fully equipped ceramics room. The gymnasium is one of the centerpieces to the school and the physical education facilities comes complete with two fields, a well equipped fitness centre, a climbing wall and a pool. Our 440 seat state of the art theatre houses all manner of artistics events for the entire school community.
Student safety is a top priority for us. To that end, M'KIS has 24 hour security, provided by security personnel employed by the school. M'KIS is a gated school community with state of the art security devices installed throughout the school.
Our children attend school in a safe environment nurtured by caring teachers who deliver instruction in top notch facilities. M'KIS is the envy of many schools around the world and the Board, Management and Staff of the school work very hard to insure a quality learning experience for each and every child.
The Elementary School wing has 28 classrooms, five English Language Learners (ELL) classrooms, three Learning Center classrooms, Art Room, Band Room, Choir Room, two Elementary Music classrooms, Gymnasium, three World Language classrooms, one Malaysian Studies classroom, two IT labs, Library Media Center, Elementary Administration Office, Physical Education Office and a Student Support Services Office.
The Middle School wing houses 34 classrooms plus one computer lab and science lab. The high school wing contains 15 classrooms, computer labs, art room, ceramics room, and laboratories for earth science, chemistry, biology, physics and physical science.
