Dancing to Connect at M’KIS
(October 7, 2011)
In the week of September 27 to October, M’KIS welcomed New York’s Battery Dance Company.

Mariana C., Sian P., Felicia S., Nadiah C., Miranda S., Ruth V., Aqil Amzar and Eiza M., together with M’KIS played perfect host to 52 underprivileged teens from Ti-Ratana, Harvest Center, Krash Pad, and SMK Tuanku Abdul Rahman for Battery Dance Company’s Dancing to Connect Program.

It was a week of sharing creative movement and dance ideas, working together, and building up to a very successful culminating afternoon performance.

These eight students represented M’KIS excellently by displaying compassion, tolerance, leadership skills, dance/performance skills, and at all times, caring for the thoughts and feelings of their guests that they worked with during the workshops and performance.dancing
